Free educational screenings for schools

ROSCOMMON ARTS Centre currently offers free educational screenings for both primary and secondary schools throughout the year as part of its education and cinema programme. This Spring the arts centre continues its collaboration with the Irish Film Institute in programming ‘Neukolln Unlimited’ (Transition Year/Senior German) on Thursday, February 9th, ‘Inside I’m Dancing’ (Senior English) on Wednesday, February 29th, ‘Catfish’ (Transition Year) on Wednesday March 14th, ‘Tomboy (Senior French) on Wednesday, March 28th and ‘Brendan and The Secret of Kells’ (Primary) on Thursday, April 17th. This season’s Filmed screenings continue on with what has become a very popular addition to Roscommon Arts Centre’s calendar with schools travelling from all across the province and beyond to attend. The cost is subsidised by the arts centre and the screenings are offered free to school groups.
