Disappointing start to the season

ROSCOMMON’S U-21and senior footballers had mixed fortunes at the weekend. Nigel Dineen’s charges lost narrowly to Cavan despite leading by four points with a few minutes remaining. I didn’t get to Kilbride on Saturday so I cannot comment on the game.

Rossies return to FBD League action

THE ROSCOMMON footballers return to action next Sunday when they take on GMIT in the FBD League in Ballyforan at 2p.m.. It will provide an opportunity for the new manager Des Newton and his selectors, Enon Gavin and Iain Daly, to try out some new players before the league begins in February.
